ঢাকা, ১৪ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৫ (রবিবার): মালদ্বীপ এর চিফ অফ ডিফেন্স ফোর্স Major General Ibrahim Hilmy এর নেতৃত্বে একটি প্রতিনিধি দল আজ সেনাসদরে সেনাপ্রধান এর সাথে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন। সাক্ষাৎকালে, পারস্পরিক কুশল বিনিময়ের পাশাপাশি তাঁরা দুই দেশের সামরিক খাতে সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধির ব্যাপারে আলোচনা করেন। Major General Ibrahim Hilmy দেশে ও বিদেশে বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর পেশাদারিত্ব, বিশেষ করে বর্তমান পরিস্থিতিতে দেশের আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষায় অবদান নিয়ে ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করেন। এ সময় বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত মালদ্বীপের মান্যবর রাষ্ট্রদূত Ms. Shiuneen Rasheed উপস্থিত ছিলেন।Chief of Defence Force of Maldives Major General Ibrahim Hilmy’s Courtesy Call on with the Chief of Army Staff Dhaka, 14 September 2025 (Sunday): A delegation led by Chief of Defence Force of Maldives Major General Ibrahim Hilmy paid a courtesy call on to the Chief of Army Staff at the Army Headquarters today. In addition to exchanging of mutual greetings, they discussed about enhancing cooperation in the military sector between two countries. Major General Ibrahim Hilmy highly praised the professionalism of Bangladesh Army at home and abroad, specially its contribution to maintaining law and order under the current context of the country. High Commissioner of Republic of Maldives to Bangladesh, H.E. Ms. Shiuneen Rasheed was also present at the meeting.
